古山 Francois Jenny


  Francois Jenny has been working in China since 2005 and involved in the environmental industry from the late 90s. He studied in both France (University of Compiegne) and the UK graduating from Cranfield University (MSC in Applied Energy) and from Warwick University (MBA).

  He is a chartered Engineer from the Institute of Chemical Engineering (IChemE) and recognized as an International Manager from the International Solid Waste Association (ISWA). He has published several papers on solid waste Management at ISWA congress, and at several Forums in China.

  Francois started his career with TIRU, a subsidiary of EDF in France. He was the Technical Manager of one of the Waste To Energy plants of Paris in Ivry sur Seine (2400 tpd, 64 MW).

  Later he moved to China with Veolia Water for the privatization of the Hohhot Water Company in Inner Mongolia and as the General Manager of the Baoji Water Company in Shaanxi.

  These roles were followed with a period at Covanta Energy where he acted as COO for the four Waste To Energy facilities located in China.

  Currently Francois is working for SUEZ. He is the Managing Director, responsible for 8 treatment plants including Hazardous Waste, Municipal Solid Waste and Organic waste treatment facility.
